HONOLULU – The Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl is offering discounted Hawai‘i Bowl tickets to high school football fans beginning Nov. 18, 2013, at the Aloha Stadium Main Box Office. Fans purchasing a ticket to the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) Football Championships can also purchase tickets to the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl (mauka sideline orange and blue levels only) for $12.00 (plus applicable service charge).
Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl Executive Director David A.K. Matlin stated, “We’re trying to offer high school football fans the opportunity to sit in prime areas for a very good price,” Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl Executive Director David Matlin said. “This is an affordable option to bring the whole family back to the Aloha Stadium for the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl on Christmas Eve.”
“The Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl is an outstanding supporter of Hawai‘i high school athletics, and the HHSAA is pleased to team up with the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl for a great opportunity for our football fans,” HHSAA Executive Director Chris Chun said.
The promotion will begin Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 through Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, and is available only at the Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium Main Box Office. Tickets will not be available at Stadium satellite box offices. Tickets are subject to availability while supplies last. All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges will be provided.
The Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl, Hawai‘i’s holiday tradition, will kick off on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 3 p.m. local time. Now in its 12th year, the game will feature teams from the Mountain West and Conference USA.
Last year's Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl featured Fresno State and SMU. The Mustangs earned the victory while tying an NCAA record for interceptions returned for touchdowns in a season, defeating the Bulldogs, 43-10. The Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl has been known for its high-scoring, thrilling offenses, and close games with two overtime games and five games decided by one touchdown or less in its twelve-year history.
