As a result of changes to state and county COVID-19 restrictions, the HHSAA adjusted its participant and fan regulations as follows:
- All participants must either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have been tested prior to the event. See www.sportshigh.com for full details. Masks for all sports do not need to be worn while actively participating (except bowling due to site rules).
- Spectators must be fully vaccinated (two weeks following the second dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine; or two weeks following the Johnson & Johnson vaccine). Spectators must show proof of vaccination along with a government issued ID for verification. If not fully vaccinated, spectators must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to the event. See www.sportshigh.com for full details. All spectators must wear a mask at all times except when actively eating or drinking.
- Digital ticketing will be used for most events to limit attendance and for contact tracing purposes. Digital tickets will be sold through the GoFan app or website https://gofan.co/app/school/HHSAA.
- Due to space limitations, there will be no spectators allowed at the bowling state championships.
