MIL football games on Maui cancelled due widespread brush fires

Due to the widespread effects of recent brush fires on our Maui communities, all MIL preseason football games scheduled this weekend on Maui will be cancelled. Our prayers go out to all of our families and their loved ones as they concentrate on dealing with this island-wide emergency.

The following preseason games previously scheduled on Saturday, Aug. 12, will be cancelled:

Baldwin vs. Edison (Calif.) at War Memorial Stadium
Lahainaluna vs. Hilo High at War Memorial Stadium
Honokaa at King Kekaulike High School
