Damien Memorial School is seeking a Head Coach for our Girls’ Basketball program. Damien Memorial School currently fields a Varsity and Intermediate squad. With the inclusion of girls to our student body in 2012, our girl’s program is still relatively young but has been fortunate to see successes in our division.
 

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

(Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the Athletic Department).
Must have 3 years minimum coaching experience in basketball, preferably in a high school setting.

• Responsible for assembling and managing staff for the entire Girls’ Basketball program in collaboration with Athletic Directors.
  
• Responsible for budget requests for Girls’ Basketball program under the guidance of the Athletic Directors.
  
• Must be able to communicate effectively with athletic directors, athletic trainers, faculty & staff, student-athletes and parents.
  
• Works closely and efficiently with Athletic Directors.
  
• Must obtain NFHS Coaching Certification (completion of Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heat Illness Prevention courses).
  
• Must abide by Damien Coaches Code of Conduct and represent Damien Memorial School responsibly.
  
• Coordinate and implement fundraising ideas for entire program.
  
• Be a role model and leader for all our student-athletes.
  
• Be a positive influence on the entire Damien athletic community.
