Punahou School is currently seeking a Sports Program Coordinator who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the administrative functions of the school's athletic program. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Eligibility and Roster Management:
- Verify eligibility for each student-athlete and check new admits in Power BI.
- Communicate with previous home school administrators to gather information on past participation.
- Prepare and submit eligibility lists and team rosters by deadlines.
- Schedule buses for travel to and from all team-related events, coordinating with the Punahou Transportation Coordinator and contracted vendors.
- Maintain continuous communication with drivers, vendors, and coaches regarding transportation issues, including after-hours and weekends.
- Prepare and distribute post-season grids to determine sports participation, PE credit allocation, and letters earned.
- Track athlete participation, PE credit, letters, ILH medals, standings, and Most Inspirational Player (MIP) awards.
- Email IT and Attendance offices with weekly out-of-class dismissals for ILH games, on-island state tournaments, and off-island team travel.
- Coordinate team picture due dates with Oahuan and Na Opio staff.

- Work Year:12 Months
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
- Starting Hourly Rate*: 24.00/Hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of work and experience
- Four (4) years of administrative experience; preferably in a large department with a high volume.
- Familiarity with athletic program administration and student-athlete eligibility requirements.
- Experience with MS Office Suite and Google Applications.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (Power BI, Blackbaud, rSchool) preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
