August 20, 2019

Dear Athletic Directors and Baseball Coaches,

The Waimea High School Athletic Department and Varsity Baseball Program would like to invite your team to our 8th Annual Walter Souza Baseball Tournament scheduled for March 5, 6, and 7, 2020 at the Waimea Athletic Field and Hanapepe Stadium. There is a tournament fee of $150 per team. This tournament fee will be used to help defray the cost of umpires and other additional costs.

To secure a spot in the tournament, a non-refundable partial fee of $75 will be required no later than January 10, 2020 for scheduling purposes. The remaining tournament fee balance of $75 will be due prior to your first scheduled game. All checks may be made payable to: Menehune Booster Club

Waimea High School
Attn: Jon Kobayashi, Athletic Director
P.O. Box 339
Waimea, Kauai, HI 96796

We do have limited housing/lodging accommodations available at our County Neighborhood Centers which will be strictly on a first come first serve basis (along with partial tournament fee payment-no exceptions) and will be opened to all interested participating off-island teams. If housing assistance is requested, it is highly recommended to contact Chad Delanoza at 808.645.1988 as soon as possible and upon confirmation, mail your partial tournament fee to secure your lodging. You will be responsible for your own sleeping necessities as there will be no sleeping cots or sleeping bags provided.

We are hoping and looking forward to another successful and fun filled tournament. If you are interested in participating, please contact Jon Kobayashi, Athletic Director at Waimea High School, 808 338.6804, or email or Chad Delanoza at 808.645.1988, no later than December 14, 2019.

We would like to thank you in advance for considering our tournament and for your participation and support in our previous tournaments. We look forward in seeing you and your team as well as enjoy the fellowship with one another.
