Kamehameha-Hawaii blasted Kailua for four runs to secure a 5-3 win and
an invitation to advance to the second round of the HHSAA state
baseball championships on Wednesday night at Les Murakami Stadium. Playing
at Les Murakami Stadium, the Warriors recorded 11 hits including
multi-hits by Blake Amaral, Trysen Cosier and Makana Cazimero. Kelii Kimi pitched five innings for the winners and got relief help from Kawika Cazimero. [Read full story below]

The
next opponent for Kamehameha-Hawaii (12-3) will be Maui Interscholastic
League champions St. Anthony on Thursday at 11 am at Les Murakami
Stadium.
Kailua lost their second straight game and will play at
10 am in the consolation game at Central Oahu Regional Park. The
Surfriders (11-3) lost on Saturday to Pearl City in the Oahu
Interscholastic Association championship game.
