BASEBALL: Four Hawai'i players selected for Area Code

Punahou pitcher Dylan Combs and catcher KJ Harrison, 'Iolani shortstop Christian Donahue and Waiakea pitcher/infielder Kodi Medeiros have been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Area Code Games Aug. 5-10 at Long Beach, Calif.

The Area Code Games will feature many of the nation's top college and professional baseball prospects and is considered by some to be the beginning of a 10-month interview process leading to the Major League amateur draft in June.

Combs, Harrison and Medeiros will play for the Cincinnati Reds team, while Donahue will join the New York Yankees team.
