In an early season matchup of number 1 Iolani and number 2 Punahou, the Lady Raiders came away with a convincing 37-27 victory. Both teams had trouble scoring against intense defenses, but the Buffanblu, especially in the first half, could not find a way to score against the swarming Raider defense. The final score was 37-27. Raider Jamie Smith, with 15 points and 15 rebounds, was the only player to score in double figures.
