KAPA`A - The Kapa`a Warriors (1-1) varsity girls basketball squad rebounded from last Tuesday's season opening road loss to the Waimea Menehune with a late-surging 65-46 home win over the Kaua`i Red Raiders (0-2) tonight at the Bernice Hundley Gymnasium. In junior varsity action, the visiting Red Raiders picked up their second victory in as many games with a 39-25 decision over the Warriors (1-1). Kaua`i Interscholastic Federation girls hoop play resumes Saturday, April 7th, with Kapa`a hosting Waimea. Junior varsity action commences at 5:30 p.m. with varsity play to follow.
