It was warm and the vog was still around at Mililani High School, but the finals didn't start until 3pm on Saturday so the athletes had a bit of a respite.
On the girls side, it was the Kamehameha-Kapalama Warriors who unseated four time defending champion Buffanblu by a score of 59.25 to 55.75. Kahuku was a bit back at 46.
The Punahou boys successfully defended their title giving retiring head coach Mike Pavich a wonderful going away present. Radford made it close, though, scoring 52 points to the Buffanblu's 55.75.
