The Ann Kang Invitational Volleyball Tournament is one of the best pre-season volleyball tournaments in the country. Each year 20 teams, this year 10 local and 10 mainland, vie for the coveted crown.
This year the Girls Kamehameha Volleyball Team sent the message, loud and clear, that the goal this year is nothing less than a State Championship. This high school sports fanatic must admit that this is a team that "should" win it all. It's a long season though, and things can happen. But, the Warriors ran through this tournament beating everyone, including Punahou, and then Redondo twice. Redondo is a nationally ranked top 20 team.
Yes, this should be the Warriors' year.
