Alexander Char of Punahou took home individual gold after racking up 532.13 points. Jayson Lum of Saint Louis finished second with 522.08 points while third place went to Buffanblu shooter Alexander Kimura (520.08).
Today’s championship marks the first of the fall sports season, and kicked off a week of state title competition.
The New City Nissan State Volleyball Championships begin Wednesday, Oct. 28 and run through Saturday, Oct. 31. Also, the Billy Tees State Bowling Championships get underway Thursday, Oct. 29 and finish the following day while the Honolulu Marathon State Cross Country Championships run on Saturday, Oct. 31.
