UH Sports Media RelationsMaui held off a second-half surge by Moanalua, defeating Na Menehune 55-51 in the consolation game of the 2007 Hawaiian Airlines HHSAA Division I Girls Basketball Championship Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Maui (12-5) was led by Hotia Vaaimamao, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds, going 10-for-14 from the field. Lilieni Laloulu-Saleimoa added seven points and 10 rebounds for the Sabers.
Moanalua (7-12) was led by Jamie-Leigh Ronolo’s 23 pints, four assists and four steals. Britni Ronolo added 17 points and 10 rebounds.
