UH Sports Media RelationsMcKinley out-scored Campbell, 28-12 in the second half en route to a 52-30 victory in the 3rd place game of the Hawaiian Airlines HHSAA Division II Girls Basketball Championship, Friday, at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Tigers (16-2) held on to a 24-18 lead at the half and limited the Sabers (14-4) to 16.7 percent shooting after intermission. Pearly Togiai led McKinley with 15 points.
Cheyna Tagura scored a team-high seven points for the Sabers, who committed 23 turnovers and shot 24.5 percent for the game.
