Charlie Hendrix had 16 kills, and Kasson Carter and Maka Piedad each added 10 as the Knights beat Ka Makani.

The first set was tied at 22-22 before the Knights ran off the final three points on kills by Hendrix and Carter, and a Ka Makani hitting error. Hendrix had eight kills and just one hitting error in the set.

Hawaii Prep ended the second set on an 11-4 run. Ka Makani’s Rokas Cesnulevicius had four kills in the set, and Tyler Van Kirk and Keanu Yamamoto each added three.

In the third, Hawaii Prep scored consecutive points to get within 23-22. A kill by Hendrix, and a double block by Hendrix and Teawe Olds ended it. Carter had seven kills in the set for Castle.

In the fourth set, Piedad had four kills and Olds contributed four blocks for the Knights.

Piedad finished the match with 21 assists.

Hawaii Prep’s Cesnulevicius had 13 kills.
