Shairone Thompson had 22 kills with only four errors as the Red Raiders (14-6) beat Ka Makani (11-7).

Thompson had two aces during a 6-0 run in the third set, which put Kahuku ahead 12-5. Thompson had four kills in the third.

Kahuku’s Quayd Ah You had 27 assists and three aces.

In the first set, Hawaii Prep went on a 5-0 run to tie it at 20-20. Kahuku went up 24-22 before Ka Makani scored the final four points, which included two Red Raiders hitting errors.

In the second set, Kahuku went on a 9-3 set-ending run. Thompson had four kills during the rally, and finished the set with nine kills and no errors.

Kyle Katase had 11 kills to lead Hawaii Prep.
